Counseling Here Saved Our Marriage
My wife and I had never come this close to splitting. Several people had told me about Dr. Stevens but we didn't go until my family doctor recommended him, too. We had done counseling before but the counselor always seemed disinterested or had lousy advice. This place was different. He listened to all of our issues and didn't take sides or act bothered. He really took an interest and helped us to see where we were going wrong. After ten years of ups and downs, we finally understand each other and are doing well. We go back every once in a while for a tune-up because he really helped us.

Dr. Stevens truly is a healer with words!
I went to see Dr. Stevens after my mom died. I never thought I would come to such a place of peace, not only in recovering from this situation, but in the rest of my life, too. I learned, not how to cope, but how to live a full purposeful life. Now I see everything in a new light. Dr. Stevens taught me to do "Christian meditation" which has really helped me. I bought his book, "In the Presence of God-A Book of Truth" and it is filled with love - I keep it with me wherever I go.
I just can't say enough about this man. My marriage has improved and now he is working with my husband to lose weight. Dr. Stevens has been a blessing from God and I will never forget what he has done for me. I know he can help you too.

Dr. David W. Stevens is a miracle worker!
I have tried every diet that ever was and none of them worked. I had given up until I saw a friend for the first time in four years. She had struggled with her weight like me and was now forty pounds lighter. She recommended Dr. Stevens and I went to see what he could do for me. I weighed 312 pounds, was taking insulin, had gone through a bout of cancer, had high blood pressure and was very depressed. From the moment I met him I knew he was the right person for me. We disussed all areas of my life, looked into my current diet and medications and a whole lotta other stuff. I felt like, if this doesn't work, that's it for me. But his diet did work and I have lost 87 pounds so far. I feel incredible. I am no longer on insulin or any other meds for depression. I cannot believe I found this place. Dr. Stevens is great and his office is very non-descript but very peaceful and comfortable and you wouldn't think this was a place of miracles, but it is. His staff is very friendly and I feel very welcome. I never feel humiliated or embarassed about my weight issues there. Appointments are available on Saturdays too.
